Treatment Solutions

Corona Treaters built for every substrate.

The corona discharge process is the most widely used surface activation method in the converting industry. Vetaphone invented it in 1951 – and we’ve been improving it ever since.

Why corona treatment matters.

Most adhesion failures – delamination, ink lift, poor laminate bond – come down to surface energy. Corona treatment increases the surface tension of plastic films so inks, coatings and adhesives bond reliably.

Our corona stations combine high-frequency generators, ceramic electrodes and precision air management to deliver consistent treatment from the first metre to the last.

Universal substrate handling

Treat film, foil, paper and laminates – conductive or non-conductive – on the same generator.

Stable dyne level

Consistent surface tension at full line speed, with the dyne level guarantee Vetaphone is known for.

Low energy footprint

High-efficiency generators reduce kWh per square metre treated, run after run.

Modular & retrofit ready

Drop-in stations and full retrofits engineered to fit existing press frames.
